"Parent & Me" Botanical PrintingSpecial InterestDiscover the art of botanical printing in this fun Parent & Me Botanical Printing - Flower Pounding class, recommended for ages 4–18. Participants will learn how to use fresh flowers and plants to create unique fabric art pieces by transferring natural dyes onto specially prepared fabric using a hammering technique. Each participant will create a fabric tote or bandana to take home. This class will cover flower pounding basics, fabric preparation, and tips for choosing the best seasonal plants and flowers. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and ear protection will be provided due to the noise from hammering. Big Shots (3 - 5)Summer Adventure ClubSummer Adventure Club is for children entering Kindergarten through fifth grade for Fall 2026. It is open June 15th - August 20th, 2026 from 6:30am-6pm, Monday - Friday. *Closed June 19th, June 29th-July 3rd* Program fees: *$53.00 per day, Non-refundable annual registration fee of $25 per child (or $50 per family) is due at the time of registration. If you were already enrolled in our 25-26 school year program you do not need to pay this fee again for summer. Non refundable $5 keyless entry prox card fee/ per card. *Choose your own schedule! This schedule must have a minimum of 16 days during the summer. Once you complete registration, you will be responsible for paying tuition for these chosen dates. Defensive Driving AugustSenior OfferingsIf you are 55 or older, save money on your car insurance premiums and become a better driver! Minnesota law requires that insurance companies offer a 10% reduction on auto insurance for three years if you complete a state-approved defensive driving course taught by professional, certified instructors. This class requires a booklet to accompany the online presentation. This booklet is available for pickup when you register at the office or once you register online. Driver EdDrivers EdStudents will receive a total of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The classroom portion consists of ten, three-hour classes and the behind-the-wheel portion is three, two-hour private lessons (scheduled through Safeway). These two tours are also guided sour cherry picks and you will get to pick a bag of sour cherries for $6. Melissa will provide the ladder, cherry pitter, harvest bins and the bags. She will also provide you with a recipe that you can try at home! 1-2 participants may harvest at a time. Mini AdventuresMini Adventures Child CareMini Adventures is a Four-Star Parent Aware and Department of Human Services certified child care program for children 3 to 5 years old. In Mini Adventures, children participate in a variety of activities including mathematics, guided group time, literacy, dramatic play, music, games, outdoor play, arts & crafts, movement and more! Independent toileting is required for children before participating. This is a high-quality child care (also known as day care) program.
