Guided Sour Cherry Pick & Blooming Heights Tour - Day 2

Visit Blooming Heights for a tour of our school district’s edible schoolyard garden. Agriculture Specialist, Melissa Trent will share a bit about the history of the garden and how it came to be. These two tours are also guided sour cherry picks and you will get to pick a bag of sour cherries for $6. Melissa will provide the ladder, cherry pitter, harvest bins and the bags. She will also provide you with a recipe that you can try at home! 1-2 participants may harvest at a time. Participants can enjoy a sample of Melissa’s natural garden-made soda and explore the beauty Blooming Heights has to offer before or after picking their cherries.

Blooming Heights is located behind the CHPS District Center/Family Center.

*Please note: each card transaction will incur a processing fee of 3.29% of total amount plus $0.39. Checks, cash or ACH withdrawals will incur $0 fees. For checks or cash, payment can be brought to the CHPS District Office (door #2) on Mondays-Fridays from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. when the district is open.
