Botanical Printing - Flower Pounding Class

Discover the art of botanical printing in this fun Botanical Printing - Flower Pounding class. Participants will learn how to use fresh flowers and plants to create unique fabric art pieces by transferring natural dyes onto specially prepared fabric using a hammering technique. Each participant will create a fabric tote or bandana to take home.

This class will cover flower pounding basics, fabric preparation, and tips for choosing the best seasonal plants and flowers. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and ear protection will be provided due to the noise from hammering. You are also welcome to bring flowers or plants from your own gardens to use during class.
