"Parent & Me" Painting - Taking a SwimSpecial InterestJoin us for a fun and creative “Parent and Me” Painting Class where you and your child can bond while learning to paint step-by-step with a professional instructor. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, these classes offer a unique opportunity to create beautiful artwork together in a relaxed and supportive environment. One child and one adult will share one canvas. Jill Mason of Art Van Go Painting Parties will lead this fun two-hour class!This class is recommended for ages 4–15, but anyone is welcome, as the experience is what you would like it to be with your child! "Parent & Me" Botanical PrintingSpecial InterestDiscover the art of botanical printing in this fun Parent & Me Botanical Printing - Flower Pounding class, recommended for ages 4–18. Participants will learn how to use fresh flowers and plants to create unique fabric art pieces by transferring natural dyes onto specially prepared fabric using a hammering technique. Each participant will create a fabric tote or bandana to take home. This class will cover flower pounding basics, fabric preparation, and tips for choosing the best seasonal plants and flowers. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and ear protection will be provided due to the noise from hammering. Families are also welcome to bring flowers or plants from their own gardens to use during class. Summer 2026 -
